Absolute best budget earbuds?

Does anybody know how the monk plus stack against the auglamour?

If you mean the AG RX-1, I prefer the Monk+.
But I prefer the SHE3800 to the Monk+.
And I prefer the TY Hi-Z 32 to all of them.
But I'm currently burning in the 1more EO320 which looks like it could win...

I agree, I have Monk and Monk+ but a week ago I got TY Hi-Z 32ohm and since then I have forgotten about the Monks

In what way are they better? I am looking for better clarity and detail retrieval.

I did not know this thread existed, thanks for the mention @luedriver !!
The Qian39 is indeed great, it has been getting almost all my use this last week, even with the TY 650 around (not budget!)
in fact, probably about to order a couple more to recable, stock cable super thin.

My Vote for the Best Budget Earbud is the Vido:

Has the BEST bass of any earbud I have ever heard, with a surprising amount of detail.

Comes with a volume control and microphone version as well.

It WAS my used earbud, well until my son got a hold of them and destroyed them.  I have another set on order:

Are they only available on the Taobao site?... would love to get hold of them but never used Taobao.

As far as I can tell, they are only available on Taobao right now.  They used to be on Aliexpress, but I can not find them anymore there.

I will cross post this from the Earbuds thread as it pertains to the budget buds.

The Qian25 has quite the nice sound and can be purchased for only $6USD.  Plus it comes in a cool little tin case:

There are a few Asian only color schemes, like the Red/Blue version I have and the Other Red/Orange.

Here is a picture for reference of the Red/Blue I got from Taobao:

Sound reminds me of the simple, but accurate Monk plus.  Though the Qian25 does have a bit more bass and the Monk has a slightly better build quality.

Hello, I've never consider Earbuds until my In-Ear crap out recently. Can you guys recommend some / your Top 3 Earbuds? Under $150 preferred.

Thanks.

As this is the budget thread, that's what I'm going to suggest you start with. In order of preference:

Qian39
TY Hi-Z 32
SHE3800
Monk+
MDR E808+ (ordered, not yet received)

As they are about $6 each, for $30 you can have a range of decent buds that will help you decide which direction you want to go in when spending more money. I like those I've got and haven't felt the need to spend much more.

Hello, I've never consider Earbuds until my In-Ear crap out recently, Can earbuds sound as good as IEMs? Can you guys recommend some quality Earbuds or List your Top 3 Earbuds choices? 1 Being your favorite. Under $150 preferred.

Thanks.

The earbuds roundup thread is a better thread for earbuds that cost more than about 10 bucks each. But willber suggestions are great ones and just what i would recommend.

By the way, I receiced an order I made over 1 month ago. **** PT15 is okay. Bright, but not more than Rose Mojito. Qian39 is quite nice. Definitely an alternative to TY32 and Monk+.

this is the best praise I have read about **** :p  not really, but I almost got the impression that  the highs were piercing, how else do they compare to the mojito

I quite like the Qian39 and Qian25 (currently listening to trance with the Qian25), mostly impressed by the Qian39. its hard to put into words

I have the rx-1 would you say they also compare to the mojito, like a mini mojito? or is that taking it too far?

Well, it's mainly the bright highs. But the PT15 seem to have good detail and resolution. I have not had time to listen to them for more than 5 minutes. Bass is lacking and the soundstage is smaller than on Mojito.

RX-1 is the opposite of Mojito. The focus is on mids with little bass while the mids on Mojito are recessed. RX-1 is closer to Shozy Cygnus or Asura 2.
