No, I have`nt heard anything else about it. It was Per`s son who told me about this. But as you know, things take it`s time with Abrahamsen.

I took my V6 to a bake off ( a mini meet) and it sounded wonderful through Proac 1SC's - massive 3D soundstage, great imaging and good extension at both ends yet smooth and detailed

Has anyone heard the new Abrahamsen v6.0 Dac ( August 2014 model) ?

The price is not stated in the aforementioned web site.
I can find no reviews about it in the world wide web.
Specifications seem identical to the older model.
How does it sound in comparison to the old v6.0, to ifi audio iDSD micro, Hegel HD12, or to any other DACs ?

Are you sure that's a new model?  Mine is a few years old (and still an amazing DAC) and is a V series

I can't really be sure, because the products in the company's main page (http://www.store.abrahamsenaudio.no/) are the same like in the distant past. But, the company started selling these products this year (there was nothing in their official page until then- if i recall correctly). And the products did not appear all together. Instead, the DAC appeared last one. Many months ago, the company advertised a new series to come, called "Aeris". I finally never saw such a product line. But instead, the v1.0, v2.0, v3.0, v4.0 and v6.0 appeared on their main page. So, i have no idea, but it seemed to me as if it is an improved version of the old ones. I hope someone else knows more nformation than I do. Is there anybody that has bought an Abrahamsen v6.0 in the last month ? Maybe he/she could help us.
