Some of you may know this, satellites these days have foam behind their drivers, is it possible to make it out of toxic material, to cause any damage immediately or over time?

I would guess given the state of affairs in certain countries anything is possible. And I believe in the old days American speakers had real fiberglass batting which would be very uncool for the lungs.

In the old days they use foam or fiberglass to dampen the inside of speakers. Nowadays there are vibration dampeners.
