i'm in the process of ordering triple fi 10s and am going to reshell them with unique melody with a 4th driver addition.

so a couple questions
first:if the driver inside the custom iems for some reason breaks after a few months i assume UE won't fix it correct?if so what happens?does it become a pretty paperweight or can i ship it somewhere to fix it?

second:the triple fi 10s im ordering comes with the microphone for use with the iphones if i reshell them and add a 4th driver will the microphone and cables still be useful or would i have to buy a new cable?

Warranty wont be valid more then likely if one goes out or breaks you can just send it back to UM for fixing. I dont think they will do it for free but it will be cheaper then starting from scratch again.

Not sure on the cable as i dont know how it connects to the tripple fi never used them. I doubt it will work though. Unless you specify through UM that you want a connector to fit that very cable.

they can mold it to be used with the original wire.

ah i see..
is it really worth it to add the fourth driver?
i mean is the sound improvement worth an extra 120$?
i see in your sig that you have a um remolded tf 10 pro is it a 4 driver or standard 3 driver?, how do they both compare?
i assume that the remold still makes the cables detachable?
