So about 2 weeks ago I received my A700 headphones(as suggested on head fi), and I have been enjoying them a lot, except that they are quite tight on my head, and begin to hurt in less than an hour. Am I able to safely and carefully bend the 2 wires on the top that are causing the pressure? Or will they snap?
 
Also, I am once again becoming tempted to return them for the AD700s. Are there any stores that possibly have the AD700s? Or am I gonna have to risk returning my A700s(if I can even do that now) and hope the AD700s turn out better?

The AD700s won't have as much bass impact as the A700s because they are open.  I had the opposite problem with my pair though, they were far to huge.  I had to bend the wires to make them tighter.

hahah, really? Well, if it is possible to bend them without doing any serious damage to them, I might give it a try. I was just worried I might accidentally snap it, or damage the wiring inside it somehow.
