So I'm pretty happy with my home rig right now, but when I go for walks around the lake near my house, I listen to my ipod on Sennheiser PX100s. They sound good enough, but I'm starting to wish I had some more noise isolation, so that the music isn't drowned out by passing cars and such.

I'm wondering if any of the sealed headphones in the $100 range sound at least as good as the PX100s. Less bulky would also be nice (I don't want to look TOO stupid). Specifically, I'm looking at the AKG K 26 P, Sennheiser HD 205, Sennheiser HD 25-SP, and AKG K 81 DJ.

All recommendations welcome, but I'm not interested in IEMs or anything with noise cancelling technology.

Edit: I guess I should say that less expensive is also good, as long as it doesn't sound worse than PX100s.

Also, I just noticed this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=220532

So I guess I should add the ATH-SJ5 to the consideration list.

I would say that the AKG K81DJs sound as good as the PX100s, as long as you like a slightly bloated bass. They are fairly isolating as well - I have used them on planes with significant reduction of engine noise.

The ATH SJ5s seem to be developing as flavor of the month, so may be worth looking at, but I haven't even seen a pair, let alone heard them yet!

the K81's are a good choice, and better than the PX100(IMO)

you might want to try out the ES-7? great vocals, with a bling bling mirror finish to top everything off
