Well I usually use my setup to listen to music at work. I currently have an AKG K401 and people have been asking me to turn down the volume to a point I can't almost hear it.

Well, are the above-stated stated headphones ideal for such an office environment (i.e. no co-workers can't hear my music)?

Thanks

Well the CD3K is a closed headphone so leakage is less than an open one. I would however recommend you try Etymotics. You wont be dissapointed and its naturally got great isolation.

Hope that helps.

The only problem with Etymotics at work is that people will be able to sneak up on you, so you can't let your guard down.

And you can't hear the phone ring.

I bought the W1000 specifically because my fiancee was sick of hearing the HD600s loud and clear when I listened to them at even moderate volumes. No complaints with the W1000; they do a fair job of isolating as well, and apparently have a sound that grows on you (or changes as it breaks in) because I used to not care for them, but now enjoy them quite a bit.

Have not heard the CD3000, but would like to someday . . .
