Hello everyone.

I,ve been stalking this forum for quite a while. So this is my very first post.

Needing some new portable headphones for my ipod shuffle. After going trought many many threads the HD-25 has become my main intrest. I,ve got a couple of questions though.

1. Is the shuffle able to drive it on decent volumes?

2. What about sound leakage?. I would be using this cans mainly on bus and train. However I dont want to bother the other passengers. Whats your view on this?. Do they leak a lot more sound than earbuds?. I,ve got Senn 595 for home listening so I dont know about closed cans.

Thanks

Hi

The HD25-1 is known as a very good can for portable use.

Among others they have the following advantages:
1 - They are very efficient. I don't own a shuffel but a maxfield g-flash and there is no problem driving the HD25-1.
2 - They have a very good isolation.

I think you would be satisfied.

One word of warning: Try to wear them for a longer period of time and see if you find the clamping power uncomfortable.

If the regular line of iPods can drive them, that surely means that the iPod shuffle can easily drive them to ear splitting volumes. (or so I hear...
