I nothing about microphone brands. All I know is that some are USB, and some hook into an audio interface, and are used for different recording scenarios.
I have the standard Focusrite audio interface, and I'm looking for a non-USB microphone for my desktop computer. I want to be able to stand from across the room, or lay on the floor while I'm having a long conversation, and I want to be able to stand any direction adjacent to it and not lose quality.
If anyone knows of such a microphone, my budget is 500 max, and if there's something great for even closer to 200, that would be great too. It would mean I can get it sooner rather than later. Thank you.
