I am desparately lookimg for a mp3 player that has no hiss on se530. It seems that both the cowons and the sonys hiss. thanks for your help! any hints are more than welcome.

Sony S639 or S739. Those are the only Sony that have absolutely no hiss and that is with the UM3X which is even more sensitive than the SE530.

BTW, when I say "no hiss," there is literally no hiss, not "no noticeable hiss."
