I'm looking for a headphone that sounds fun, good to groove with, but that still has the high end/detail of the ER·6. Is there some Grado/Alessandro phone that is under $130?

I received the exact same advice from refault, thanks.

Alright, i've pretty much got my sights set on an MS-1. Which Grado headphone does it most sound like? someone said the sr125...

how does it differ from the sr-60?

Another question: where can i actually buy these? does HeadRoom carry them?

The SR-225's are said to sound most like the RS-1's. The MS-1's sound like the SR-125's.

I had sr80 and it was simply fun, but screechy high with tighter bass than sr60.
I heard sr60 and sr125 and they were also good in their performance vs. value.
Now I just got sr225 and it has electrifying guitar and slamming drum sound.
Simply I feel like I'm in the center stage.

Alessandro MS1 is hard to beat in price/value category.

Many like akg k240 studio for closed cans option.

Either K240 model is semi-open, not closed. They WILL leak sound.

The request here does indeed call for a groovalizer, though. K240S, DT531, DT440, HFI-700 (I think), all fall under this category.
