A&K Layla IEM CABLE UPGRADE

Recently took advantage of a sale by A&K on Layla's these are the first version, not the II. I'm using it with a A&K SP1000 and 380cu and find it a good sounding IEM. Would upgrading to a Moon Audio Silver Dragon make a difference? What can I expect. When I added Nordost Heimdall cables to my Sennheiser HD800s and Audeze LCD-X the sound opened up and detail was increased. Would I get a simular bump with IEM's?

I have the same question. I have Layla on order and wondering how silver dragons sound, and should I order without the bass pod?

My 2 channel/home theater hybrid rig I have the Nordost frey 2 loom. My low tier copper cables from Audioquest and blue jeans made my system bright with high frequency distortion; very fatiguing.
With nordost silver plated cables my highs are cleaner/clearer, less noisy, in focus.

OP: It's been a year, what have you done with your Laylas?

Actually I probably haven’t used them in 10 months. Don’t used headphones that much.
