If you would like to try the beta firmware, you could add the group first. If the gapless function fails to work, please check whether you have turned on the MQA option.
You could also share the music files to us for check.

Regarding the gapless playback it works when the mqa is off. This need to be fixed. Regarding the 96/24 files not playing where can I share these with you? Also when the MQA full decoder for third party apps will be released?

When MQA is on, the MQA decoding library will be used so the gapless function is disabled.
You could upload the files to dropbox/wetransfer/mega then share the download link to us.
We do not have the estimated time currently.

No worries. I will return my FiiO M11 pro and go for a dap with MQA that covers third party applications. Thanks though for your replies

1.Added support for screen rotation (can be set in the pull-down menu or in Settings -> General. The screen will rotate upside down when this option is enabled);
2.Added global MAQ support (now the player supports 8x MQA unfolding even when playing MAQ tracks in third-party apps. However it not include Tidal, Tidal will update a version to adapt our product later);
3.Added a new function of hiding the un-scanned or empty folders in Folder view menu (can be set in FiiO Music -> Settings -> Scan for music. When enabled, only the titles of the scanned tracks will be displayed in Folder view menu);
4.Added album art display in Folder view menu;
5.Added quick-charge indication with a motion effect
6.Added 'File size limit for album art' function (can be set in FiiO Music -> Settings. And after selecting a limit, the album art image whose file size exceeds this limit will not be displayed);
7.Added volume and battery display in USB DAC and Bluetooth receive mode;
8.Fixed the issue where the Google account data could not be backuped.
9.Miscellaneous improvements on performances.

I did with no regrets and got an AK SR25. Tidal still on the fly. Did @FiiO just added mqa on M11? That’s was a bit misleading for people who changed over from M11 to M11 pro because of MQA

No, 2X. And you could switch MQA SPDIF option from the settings menu of FiiO Music app.

Hi,

No. The offical MQA standard require to output 2X or bitstream when using Spdif output. We need to follow the requirement of MQA as well.
If your DAC support MQA Rendering, you could select Decoded MQA in the MQA SPDIF option. If your DAC support MQA Full-Decoder instead, you could select Bitstream instead.

@FiiO thats not what was stated in your forum. It was stated that FiiO implemented mqa. The 2x you are referring can be carried out by the tidal app And nothing to do with Fiio’s effort. So what is exactly your widely MQA implementation you did for spidif and usb audio out? The biggest misleading was advertising the M11 pro as MQA DAP which is not yet and many people including me bought the pro just for that. Now MQA is also available for the M11. thankfully I returned the pro and kept the regular.
