My 4GB Clip hasn't even arrived from ShopSansa (with 30% off) and now the 8GB is already released.

Hope they make a 16GB Fuze now.

Or even 32GB? Come on Sansa, you're the king of flash memory after all.

Just browsed Amazon and didn't see it there yet. Instead I see the 8GB Fuse on sale for $87 and only $102 when you order it with a 8GB microHCSD. Is it tax time yet?

Edit: Oh its probably used I think

the 8GB is available in Europe. There are few US sites that sell them, but at $90 they are getting pretty pricy. I prefer the fuze because of the expansion slot. Now, if the clip had expansion slot, that would be great.

Does anybody have any idea how much battery life the Clip would get playing FLAC files?

It looks like it's only available in black. Oh well, now I don't have to choose!

And yeah, how much battery life would it get playing nothing but FLAC?

Awesome announcement. The price is too much though. 100 bucks is into non-ultra-budget territory.

i think what we're all thinking is why get the 4GB silver version when you can get the 8GB black version that is revision 2 hardware/firmware-wise...

the 8GB version would be $73.98 shipped after the sansaemp226 coupon for shopsansa.com whereas the 4GB is $59.98...

personally, i'd pay the extra bit for updated pcb & twice the capacity....

but i am curious to see how/if/when they revise the fuze line...

I thought the newer batches of 4GB (and maybe 2GB and 1GB ones too) all have hardware revision 2?

Oh sick, I forgot about the 30% off. It is until the end of the year right? It'll make a great Xmas gift.

Nsx you could wait through this week for the 8gb to come out from Sansa and then you can get it with the 30% off for about 70 bucks. Assuming the coupon will work for the 8gb.
