It give me a little lesson about detail. The difference between a little ear bud and headphone, is the spacing between the ear. It allowed the music reproduction closer to the speaker.

( Full newbie review coming soon. )

Here were some pictures I scaned. That means nothing to people who own V6, but it taught beginner the looks of V6.

Hehe, nice V6 box!

And yeah, just plug it into a receiver with something playing -- be it radio or CD. Ideally, people say you should burn it in with bassy music first, then move upwards to trebly music. Let 'em play for a good 48 hrs or so continuosly. If you want to get adventurous, you can use pink noise to burn them in.

I think I will use original classical music CD, bez it have more detail to burn in part. ( I hope I'm right. )

If bussy sound in the first time, I might just use the radio.

ah, burning.... what a hot button topic around here. the idea is just to have the moving parts 'break-in'. some people say that you should play really deep bass on it to fully extend the voice coil parts. others say fm music. others say pink noise. others say white noise (between radio stations), i say mono. someone else says to burn them in at low volume for 24 hours, then mid volume for 24 hours, then high volume for 24 hours. some say bass then treble. others say treble then bass. some say one type of music, i say many. some say the best way to burn them in is to just use them. who's right? i can't say.

as to the pictures, i've seen the v6. i was just wondering why you had so many.

A Nice Christmas Gift to me

After a long 21hrs burning process, I could use one word to describe my feeling ¡§Happy!¡¨ The transformed V6 was way better than when it flash out of the box. The sound assemble together nicely with details. You could easily count how many instruments inside the songs. It provided a real face of the music I had heard before.

The sound performances

The Bass: I think I don¡¦t need to explain too much in here, but I don¡¦t know what a deep bass mean is. What I can tell is the bass long last than most of the sound I have heard before. I can feel how drums hit by drum sticks, and drums back to normal. Also the bass are tight.

The Treble: It is no doubt that is a little bit too high. I need to adjust the treble in some of the songs (Long lasting electric guitar sound (high type), some high treble mixing stuffs). In classical music it really shows its power of treble. It produces high smooth sound with nicely finish at the end.

Vocal sound: Three words, ¡§Loud and Clear.¡¨ You will not except that when you first hear it without burn-in. You will find out everything will be alright after a period of burning.

(It may be my Stereo system problem. My V6¡¦s sound is so much different in my MZ-N505 and Sony D-375) It isn¡¦t really portable with my MD unless you turn it up to 25-30/30 volume. I think an amp will fix the problem.

The Type of Music I like and rating

Rock ++++
Punk Rock +++ (The treble miss up way too loud.)
R&B +++++ (Everything is tight and clear.)
Hip-Hop +++++ (Everything is tight and clear.)
Jazz N/A
Classical +++ (Not that type of phone, but better than my VX-100)
5 + = full

Question:

1. I heard ZZZzzzzzZZzzzzz sound when I plugged-in the phone into the stereo system, even there was no song was playing. Why was it happen?
2. It is similar to the first question. It happens to my turner. I will hear loud Zzzzz when the turner detects the cannel can apply stereo.
3. I found out my phone sounds louder now. Is it my imagination or really there?

(I feel appreciate to my uneducated describe. That¡¦s all I can say.)

yes, your edit right. I mean I'm Fine.

Question: If I can hear my V6 music clearly when I sitting about 10-13 meter away from the headphone, is it too loud for burn-in? I already burned 30+ hrs.
