Hey guys. I am looking to purchase a 3.5mm interconnect cable for my portable headphone setup. While I was browsing around the web and doing my research I came across "7N-OFC". I read a small bit about it and I believe that "7N-OFC" is higher grade wire? More specifically, wire that is made of a higher percent of copper? I also see that 7N-OFC grade interconnects are significantly more expensive than those that are not. I am not looking to spend too much for my 3.5mm interconnect but if there is an audible difference in sound quality I am willing to pay a premium for it. So with that said, I was wondering whether it is worth the premium for 7N-OFC graded cables?

I have came across nice 6' inch $10 interconnects on the internet however I also see that the cheapest 7N-OFC grade interconnect is $24. The budget for my interconnect is $20 but if 7N-OFC is really worth it I am willing to stretch my budget to purchase it.

Also if you guys know a better 3.5mm interconnect for less than $25 feel free to share me the info.

It probably won't make a difference unless the cheaper interconnect is very poorly made - but that has nothing to do with the purity of the copper itself.
