I'm leaving for my big trip on the 20th.

first to CA, then NY, then Greece, then England for a while, I'll work there and travel to a bunch of places from there, like France, Spain etc. (flights are so cheap!!!) and on the way home I'm going to Finland, Turkey and Singapore.

I'm really looking forward to this trip

If anyone is interested, I'll probably put my pictures on my online gallery at http://zeyus.deviantart.com/gallery/

All in all this time I will probably be gone for about 7 months (by this time I mean, I will definately go again, but longer next time...this time is just a taste I spose)

Well, I'll be in CA for 3 days, I'll be in LA, and around there, I have friends that live about a hour or so drive from LA. Can't remeber the name of the place

And ill be staying in queens with my aunty for about a week and a half...but I'll hopefully get to see more of NY than I did last time (I only got to see queens and manhatten...Oh i was in brooklyn for a day too.)

Then from there

Greece, I will be there for about 2 weeks, and I will be in athens for a couple days, then Lesvos because my best mate is visiting there so I'll meet up with him and both of us will go and see a few of the other islands too.

Then i'll be in england for about 5 months, I'll be staying near devon (have friends there), but if i get work in London I will stay there. I'm thinking about feb. or something I might start doing some europe travelling like going to spain, italy, france, denmark, anywhere that i've always wanted to see. Oh and I will visit my relo's in glasgow too, they have a great spot and scotland is beautiful.

Then off to finland for about amonth i guess. I have heaps and heaps of family there, so I'll be all over the place...Mainly they live in Helsinki and Turku, but there are other places too.

And in turkey I am flying into istanbul, Ill be there for a few days, but i can extend my stay with no trouble, which I might do if i liek it (im sure i will)

and the same for singapore...

and then back to australia

zeyus,
That is most awesome! I’ll get a great trip! America and Europe are both great, however it’s much cheaper traveling within the States (JetBlue & Midwest fx) than in Europe. This is probably due to taxes and such. However RyanAir is quite cheap in Europe, and you can get mostly everywhere for a reasonable amount. I am certain, though, that you know all about it.

Are you doing this as a pre-university thing? I think I’ll be going on trip once I’m done with my school (I’m graduating this year).

... RyanAir are pretty cheap! Thats the cool thing about Europe though, compared to Australia the transport is so cheap (I guess everything is more compacted, and there are heaps more people).

No, I'm basically doing it as a explore the world / see everything type of thing, I'm pretty sure I'll travel more after I come back, but I would love to go with my best mate next time, but he is 4th year tiling apprentice. So hopefully next year we can go touring together.

Where were you thinking of going?
