6G ipod hard drive on a 5.5G ipod ???

Would a 160 GB hard drive from a 6G ipod classic fit to a 80 GB
5.5 generation ipod video ??? Any kind of input is appreciated...

No, they use a different interface. The 5.5G uses a 40 pin ZIF connector. I forget what the drive in the classic uses, but I know it's not that.

seems a lot more sensible to just buy the classic 160 unless you use rockbox
