quite good 5V analog power regulator for DAC and ADC, very good power filtering for opamps using LC filter with C being 1000uF Nichicons, nice layout, tantalum caps all over the board..

Hmm, somehow I doubt it, because bypassing the output stage of the RME made it sound like a layer of garbage had been taken off the sound, increasing detail and clarity, but the sound presentation stayed much the same. I think this is due to the sound signature of the DAC chip. If the Lynx's DAC chip has an analytical sound, it would persist no matter what the output stage (or lack thereof).
