Has anyone tried this in place of a 6AS7 in any amp?

The 6520 is a premium version of the 6AS7 and looks virtually identical

No,i am late on alot of tubes out there to try but when you say looks the same do you mean spec wise?

So are prices, so I doubt that the 6520 is a premium 6AS7G. In fact, the 6520 is slightly less than 6AS7G at my favorite tube store.
