kind of crazy, I think many of us brands were just on the same wavelength. We saw many copper accented releases at CanJam, were surprised to have been one of them.Copper accents is the new trend it seems

this is actually a pretty good description of Solo.if they achieved a deep holographic soundstage and are more on the relaxed side of neutral or at least dont have a harman or vshaped signature, this could be a contender for my endgame

definitely not "soft." it still has the resolving power of planar, just not any of the "sharp" drawbacksSo a " soft " sound ?

they're not technically "open back" like Duo's semi-open back design, but the isolation is on the more open side. Similar to our m12 moduleWhoever designed that grill needs a raise. Are they open?

very keen observation. not sure if there was a direct influence or a subconscious one but we can definitely see the resemblance.BTW @64Audio very nice shell design, reminds me of old floor speakers from the 70s and the pattern from your logo is the cherry on the cake

this is another one of our tia™ IEMs which can prove to be difficult to fit into custom shaped shells. Not saying a definite "no!" but nothing currently in the pipeline for a custom SoloCustom when?

I had a sneak peak at the Solo - here's a YT Short I did unboxing it.
A couple interesting notes:
1. It's a 14.2 mm planar. Not sure if it's the same planar being used in many of the other planar IEMs currently out there.
2. It's true open back, not just vented. There's no pressure build-up and feels "open".
3. The new piece of tech that 64 Audio is using here is the Dual Helmholtz Resonators to help control the treble.
I won't comment on the sound at the moment so that we can get some live reactions from CanJam. But stay tuned over the next few days as I'll try to get a YT Short first impressions review out and a written review on The Audio File's section of Headphones.com.

Any plans on a future model that will allow Apex swaps? I love being able to "fine tune" things depending on what I am listening to or mood. Tip rolling can do a lot but Apex swap can make a big difference especially with Nio. I know you guys probably wanted to keep the Solo as "affordable" as possible but I would pay more for the Apex swap ability even if I have to use a tool to change the modules.they're not technically "open back" like Duo's semi-open back design, but the isolation is on the more open side. knowing it will be totally open makes me even more excited. cant wait to get my hands on a unitthis is actually a pretty good description of Solo.
Yes, it one says sample packaging on the box! It looked so good and finished that I thought it was actually it! Taken down the video for now!this may have been before our final packaging was delivered so keep in mind there will be a bit more in retail units.
based on the internal construction of models like Fourte, Trio, Duo, and Solo it's just not possible in their current configuration to build them with interchangeable apex modulesAny plans on a future model that will allow Apex swaps?
