Duo is a semi-open back IEM built as the third in our tia™ lineup of UIEMs along with Fourté and Trio. Combining our patented direct-radiating balanced armature driver "tia HF driver" with a dynamic driver for the low-end resulted in a beautifully engineered audio reproduction system.

Along with further development of our tia acoustic chambers and 3D printing driver manifolds, we deployed something unique to the IEM world; an all-pass crossover filter, which we dubbed "wave-sync," to ensure coherence in the time-domain.

With our patented technology and novel implementation of these components we were able to disrupt the common perception of "open-back" headphones being extremely lean sounding; Duo presents as an exceptionally relaxed tonality and huge bass response. The sound-signature, coupled with its open back design, translates to hours of comfortable listening.

While Duo departs from the traditional open-back sound, its functional three-part faceplate design pays a clear homage to the world of open-back headphones and will remain one of our best looking UIEMs.

Get your Duo wherever 64 Audio is sold while you stock is available and remember that there's always more to come :)

I LOVE my 64 Audio Duo.

It has an open headphone-like sound, balanced, natural and detailed. For a relaxing and very satisfying listen, the Duo is one of my go-to iems.

It is worth every dollar of its retail price and there’s no reason not to go for it now.

Why discontinue it..? Something about the DD being difficult to manufacture/implement? Have they been catching on fire?

Is there a “successor” or replacement coming soon? I’m super interested in an open-back like IEM, but would hate to buy these (even at a discount) only for something new to launch a few weeks later…

We can confirm that nothing will be releasing anytime soon that is directly related to the sound and configuration of Duo. At the end of our post, however, we did say that there's always more to come...

I've never heard a 64 audio product but I've always wanted to. What is the 64 sound??
You need to try U12T, with one of the 3 non-bassiest filters. There is gobs of bass, even with the light ones..!

The sound is like AEON 2 NOIRE, Empyean Elite, or maybe LCD-4/4z with much better stage & depth; a meaty, satisfying, focused studio-ish flavor. The best of their entire selection, still, after many years, IMO 👍

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll see if I can audition a set.
