I have a tight budget of 60 and I would like to save 10 for some comply tips for my ttpods afterwords. RIght now the Philips SHP9500 are $50( or maybe 69 its been going back and forth every time I refresh). I listen to a lot of classical jazz and edm are there any better headphones for this price?

Gemini HSR-1000 (re-branded Takstar Pro 80) should be within your budget--they are a terrific can for the money.

They're closed, so it's decent, but not extravagant. The open Takstar HI-2050 would have a much better soundstage and positional data than the HSR-1000--something else you might look into. You might also read Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide, which is on this site. It may give you more information about gaming cans that could prove useful. One last open can to consider in your price range is the Superlux HD681B or HD681 Evo, both semi-open cans with big soundstages. I prefer the Evo, which I feel is smoother, others prefer the 681B--for what it's worth. These are a few more things for you to think about. Best of luck!!

Right now their are some good prices on the Philips SHP9500, not sure if I'm allow to say where the best deals are.
and it should provide a decent resale value.

Superlux HD330. If you don't really need it for a specific purpose (I got one for my gaming PC, so I won't wear out the earpads on my HD600), might as well save the $50 now and put it towards something else later on.

I second the Takstar Pro 80 (50 bucks without carrying case), great value for the money. Hi-2050 is even cheaper, and it is open.
