first one I've seen where the length doesn't allow the "Contributor" section to be hyperlinked.

Nowadays you probably need to contribute some $$ first.

I think this is the reason behind NotoriousBIG_PJ's title change.

. Take it easy. Ok, here's a full explanation:

If you have a custom title (and many people have), the vBulletin script doesn't update your post count title even you reach a certain post count number which qualifies you for it. Thus Jude has to do it manually. We all know that Jude is a busy person and I fully understand that he has more important thing than checking whose post count reached headphoneus supremus or not. NotoriousBIG_PJ contributed money to Head-Fi, so as Jude was adding the "Contributor" title to his current custom title, he realized that he's only +500 member and correct it to "Headphoneus Supremus".

I think it happened like this. It's logical.

lol... well thanks for the clarification... I knew about the custom title bug and assumed that that was the problem... I thought you were trying to pick at Jude because he implemented the contributing members ... I'm glad I was wrong

Actually, that is part of the truth, but not in the spirit jokingly suggested.

I'm almost done changing the titles of all contributing members to reflect their contributing memberships, and, in the process, am catching some users who had existing custom titles that overrode the usual automatic 100+, 500+, etc. title changes.

Anyway, I'm almost done with this, and anticipate being totally caught up tonight with the contributing member titles, as well as finishing up any outstanding contributing member gift order submissions by tonight, too. Sorry this is taking as long as it has.

Thanks, all.

jude, just out of curiosity - have any members ever been 'punished' with a non-update of their status?
