Well, this is my 500th post here at head-fi. I guess I've really paced myself. The funny thing is, this is the only board I regularly post on. I really don't fit the head-fi mold, I guess. The only things I've purchased as a direct result of this site are an E-MU 1212M, a Gilmore Lite, Grado SR-225s, Super.fi 5Ps and finally shure e4s. I'm really happy with everything I have so far and I don't have a strong feeling of upgraditis with any of my stuff. The only thing I've been thinking about lately is replacing my e4s with e500s.

The one area where I've been influenced the most by head-fi is in the music purchasing dept. Since I've joined here my music purchasing habits have drastically increased.

Well, that's a small reflection of my 2 years here. Maybe in the future I'll have a lot of excess money and I'll go hog wild with head-fi buying funness.

Thanks for everything head-fi,

-Ingo

Lol, yeah, if I could only say that all 500 of those posts were "quality".

Speaking of "head-fi mold," there are many senior members who would agree with you -- namely, it's about the music in the end and not about the gear.

Don't worry...your pace is perfect.

I wonder why JagWire hasn't posted here

On a more serious note, it's good to see you're in no hurry. We'll all have carpal tunnel much sooner than you... socrates63 was right though, it's all about the music.

Being happy with you decissions is an strong sign of maturity (I am not

). On the other hand the equipment you have purchased is high quality and may explain why you do not need to move to other stuff. Good luck.

Hey look at me... I've frequented this site since I joined and I have <300 posts. I guess I usually only say something if I think it's a new idea... which isn't always the case.

Slow posting is fine

. You have a much smaller chance of being on ignore lists too

I have been on this board since 01 and just now getting up to about 1350. I have speed up quite a bit over the last year though. It seems as things are a-changing posting increases. As things settle down postings slows.
