500 POSTS BABY!!!

Well I have officially reached a milestone here at headfi. 500 posts!!! I know it is not much when compared to others, especially Edwood. Being a landmark for me, I was thinking about writing a full fledged review regarding all the major Ultimate Ear products and posting that as my 500th post but that will have to wait.

However, seeing is how much I enjoy coming here, I thought I would instead write a thank you for all you people here. I joined headfi not long ago so I could get in on the Porta Corda group buy.

Since the very onset of my journey here, I started to reap some benefits from this wonderful community. Since then I have hosted a major meet, gone on a factory tour, participated in other mini-meets and I have met many other headfiers here and there. More importantly, I have made some really good friends. Since joining, I have graduated from a major university, been promoted at work, been to Europe, been promoted again and am currently working on obtaining a higher degree. The downside (depending how you look at it) is that I have spent a TON of cash on headphones and headphone related gear and music.

I wake up to music which I love. I go to school and work enjoying my music with a pair UE-10 Pro’s. At the end of the day there is nothing I enjoy more than coming home and putting my RS-1’s on and fading into the music. Moreover, I am now considering getting some Grado HP-1000’s or a HP-1000 hybrid from Larry at Headphile. The bliss never stops here (the spending doesn’t either)!

So here is to headfi and my next 500 Posts! Thanks for everything people!

ah.... 500.... a milestone I remember with great fondness. Enjoy the occasion and savour it whilst it lasts, you run out of things to say at 5,000 and become part of team predictable... I wish I had the same enthusiasm I had at 500... halcion days
