Foster produces ibuds (likely). They also make the drivers for the Denon D7000, and most, if not all of the Denon line, and likely the drivers for a lot of the headphones we use here. Fostex produces the headphones that are the base for this:

 
And has produced other headphones that are pretty much technological masterpieces in their time like the original T50.

i heard Yamaha makes headphones are they any good.

I think Etymotic Research earphones, for what they are, seem to be highly underrated. They seem to be the only company with the right idea as far as accurate earphones go... Match them to the ear. I think they should make an over ear model though, and have it become the standard for studio production.

Fostex, the onyl stuff I hear people mention are the t50rp's for the thunderpants mod.

I have the OEM version of original Fostex T50 & they are 'terrific' headphones.
