I may be missing something simple here, but I am having a lot of problems locating 5.1 tests/test videos. I have 3 sets of headphones coming today and I have looked for 2 days. These have to be downloadable to a laptop. Trying to use a good surround video to evaluate all 3 equally.
Did Dolby remove them or just hiding them really well. I can play there "Pi" promo video but my Recon3D is not reading it as an actual Dolby stream. Is this because its already decoded as why my Recon3D light is not coming on?
I went to youtube and all the ones there are in stereo. But it sounds like 5.1/7.1.. are they simulating surround or is my Recon3D doing that?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
PS: simplynoise.com is a really cool website. I might use it at night to help me sleep with white, brown and pink noise. I will also be using pink noise today and a sound meter in between the headphone to make sure levels are set.
