Yesterday I decided to tinker with my 1212M PatchMix settings and switch from ASIO to SSRC in Foobar. I set the output on my 1212M to 176.4KHz and SSRC to 176.4KHz, sounds better to me than ASIO in 44.1KHz. The music seems to have a more detailed bass and a tad more fun to listen to. I honestly thought that straight 44.1KHz would sound better, I was pleasantly surprised. Has anybody else tried this before? If so, did you like the subtle change in sound quality?
