Hey, So I have been working on this protective guard for Abyss Diana V2/Phi which should help with the paint chipping issue that many users are experiencing. I am still working on tuning the fit and will keep the update going on this thread. This project has no affiliation with the company Abyss and I am doing this completely out of my own interest. If enough people want this, I might get some printed for the members of the community. Also, I would love to hear if anyone wants me to design/make anything for their headphones. If there are enough requests for certain parts/designs, I will try to start a project on that. :)

Will you be releasing the STL? I'd like a version without the logo (easier to orient and print).

Eventually, I will, I need to do more testing before I can comfortably release the file. If you would like to test them and provide some feedback, I can PM you the file.

File now available for BETA testing!!! The fit has been tuned to work well with my SLA 3D printer. Users with FDM printers might have different results. Please let me know about your test results, and I am open to any feedback for improvement!

If you don't have a printer, PM me and I will get a pair printed and shipped to you. The cost is about $30+shipping to cover the labor and material. The file has been fully tested to work perfectly on my SLA printer so you will get optimal parts.

PM coming. My V2's finish chipped slightly on an edge so I'd love to get a pair of these.

One thing to note is that these are made of SLA resin material, which is not particularly tough. This guard is meant to protect from normal scratches and paint chipping, (Which is to say don't drop it, it will likely be subject to crack from a substantial impact)

Version update: Small adjustment to the thickness of the guard to increase the rigidity.

There is a problem with the current version that makes it come off easily, I am working on a revision to fix the issue. Meanwhile, a quick hack fixes the issue:

You can use a really thin double-sided tape to stick the guard on the headphone (It is recommended that you use NICHIBAN tape which is super thin and doesn't leave any residue).

Looks cool. Can we see what it looks like on the headphone?
I would love too, but I have already taped a grey set on my Diana phi and my V2 is currently on repair. I will send some pics when I get my V2 back.
