325is On The Way!

I ordered the 325is from THVJ early Friday morning.Got a great deal ,265 for the 325is.I also ordered the 15 ft extension cable and the flat pads.I figured I would just get the pads now instead of ordering them later.Since I hate waiting on things I picked the 2 day shipping option,so they should be here Monday.(I hope.)This place is hell on your credit card.A Gimore lite is next.As soon as I can get approval from my other half that is.

Congrads. I just picked up my 325i's as well, and I am LOVING them.

I have had mine for a week, and the Grado is pretty good. Comfort was an issue
at first, but everything is cool after the pads softened.

A wall of sound was expected out of the box. However, much to my surprise, at first, the presentation appeared refined. Well, 15 hours in, the bad boys are waking up and going down chunky like beef stew while retaining a strange sort of musicality - very impressive phones. I can see how so many indulge in them.

May I ask how you got them for $265? I plan on ordering mine at the end of the week. Congrats!

Congrats!!! theyts a sweet rig. Enjoy, theyre great jazz cans IMHO. Im completely loving my MS2.. a distant relative to the 325 and 325i. Ella fitzgerald sounds incredible

I hated my 325i. Well not hated but was not sure of them. I broke them in for 60 hours but still they were a bit (ok quite a bit) harsh (compare to my silver 325). They are now fine and I enjoy the added spaciouness of the sound without the added harshness. The point you ask. They do take a bit to break in. I cannot give an exact time but I would guess it was a good 120 hours run in and that first 60 hours or so was at fairly high volume as I did not listen to them much (I do want to retain my hearing) during it. So be prepared for the break in time.

Above all else enjoy them.

After I placed my order,I received my email from TTVJ conferming my order the Grados were marked down 10 percent.The reason?a winter sale.Hey Its almost summer but I'm not going to complain.
