Well I came to this forum hoping to spend 100-150. Now I am spending 300, and looking into amps to buy, and then a good source.

I hate you all.

Although I do have a real question, I am taking my 325i's on vacation with me, and my friends insisit on going to the beach, so would there be any problem bringing my 325s with me?

I would 100% recommend NOT taking your precious cans to the beach! Sand! Salty air particles! Seaweed bits! Leave those cans at home!

Congrats, enjoy those cans, and I won't tell you to run away since you're already set on a few more purchases I see!

x2... youre going to risk creating a grattle with all that sand.

Get a KSC75 for $15 as a good knock around can....

enjoy those SR-325i's they're Awesome. Give them a few weeks to bed into your ears and to allow the diaphragms to bed in and you'll fall in love with them.... fresh from the box they're a bit shrill..... give them the time they need and you'll be over the moon.

I just got my 325i,yesterday,overall very good sounding cans.A little harsh still.I only have about six hours on them.I'm sure they will smooth out with more time on them.My 125s were the same way when I first got them. And yes this place will make you spend money.Since I started coming here I have bought the Grado 125s,Beyer dt770s,and now the 325is,grado extension headphone cord, and flat pads. And as soon as I get my credit card balance down a little bit,a Gilmore lite is next.

Go look at the thread where bhd812 destroyed his 325i to shame and humble yourself not to throw money around like that. I don't care if your donald trump and can afford a zillion pairs, that's just an awful and annoying thing to do (and if you do it don't tell us about it!!)

Please come back to your senses, leave your 300 dollar headphones home (or in the hotel room atleast) get some cheap garbage headphones for the beach... come on man.

I'm not rich at all (college student actually), but I just can't stand the sound of cheap speakers. Even the Grado 125s were a bit unlistenable for my tastes. I don't want to seem like uppity about my audio, but there was just something about them that was laking, and then.... what's the point of listening...

It is probably better to not take open cans to the beach though...

I might pick up a pair of the Koss Portapro's though.... they are so cheap how can you go wrong?
