Ya, so the right channel is rattling pretty good with certain low tones. Sounds like a hair touching the driver. This happened often enough with my HD590's, but I could always pull the pads off and fish out the offending hair(s). This time, I think the darn thing has gotten in the back. I thought I could see the hair in there last night, but now I can't. Either way, fishing it out seems almost impossible. What do other Grado owners do? I did search, the problem seems to be reffered to as the Grattle, but I didn't find much searching for that..

Blow with medium strength (you should see the diaphragm moving a bit against the air) into the front from different angles. Do the same thing from the back but be careful not to blow too hard from the rear. Should fix it up. You can use a layer of pantyhose placed under the pads to keep hair out.

Hmm, blowing from the front seems to have done it. I didn't think it would help, so I hadn't tried. Thanks.

I just had the grattle real bad - before it was just a resonance on some low frequency notes, but two minutes ago it was on every second note...
Blowing seems to have fixed it, thanks for the tip
