30 day chip

Well, I made it.
I now have my Head-fi 30 day chip.
I joined on Dec. 4th and I feel like I have made great progress over the last month.

I stumbled in here looking for advice on replacing my 20 dollar portable headphones with something similar.
After a few weeks of compulsive board reading, I decided that my budget was too low. I purchased a new set of Grado SR80. Do I like 'em? You bet.

That didn't stop me from ordering set of the KSC70s for comparison purposes (and to fill the more portable role of my previous set).

Today, I bought a used set of Sennheiser HD595s on the Sale forum here. I figured I needed them for comparison purposes.

I am romancing the idea of upgrading the soundcard on my computer, and I am entertaining amping options.

For 30 days, I feel like I have done pretty well. I even told my wife that I bought the Senns and she seemed sympathetic....

So, do I get a merit badge or anything?

I'm sorry I started this foolishness and welcome to the 30 day elite class of membership. I don't have anything specific to recommend, except spend it as you get it. It's the only way.

Yeah I know it's actually coin collecting, but I think a badge with money on it fits, considering the large losses of it due to Head-Fi
