3 - The End is Begun....I just acquired this CD and I've never heard of them but...man....I'm really kind of liking 3....recording quality is right up there!

On this album they do a great cover of See Emily Play.
Favorite songs so far:
The End Is Begun
These Iron Bones
All That Remains

....This is great Progressive Rock....rippin' electric guitar with some nice licks with acoustic accompanyment and nice vocal harmonizations throughout.

Yeah ....It's bands like this they make me REALLY appreciate my HPs!

This band is like a cross between Porcupine Tree, Queen, and....you add the rest....check 'em out.

Sweet....dam radio stations never play the Good stuff, you know.

peace

I started listening to this band very recently as well after I got tickets to see them in Prog Nation '08 with Opeth and DT.

I have been very impressed with this band as well, they sound tight, have a good sense of dynamics and variations in song writing.

But I have to say, I think the vocals are annoying. If you can get past that, its a good band.

I linked to 3 from a Porcupine Tree page, I think... The song "All That Remains" is a pretty good single in the classic prog-rock 12/8 vein (gotta love the changes in that hammered-on backing riff).

The singer reminds me a little of the guy from Coheed and Cambria. I heard the album a while back, but "All That Remains" was by far the biggest stand-out for me.
