Looks like their plug is brass then plated.

I know of the Furutech. What is the ATL PH-3504RH pin made of? I don't care for carbon fiber (real or fake) it doesn't serve any purpose in audio that I can see. It's doesn't dissipate static.

i agree that carbon fiber looking plug is really ugly.
 
some of those stepped plugs look like they would work nicely with cases depending on your source
