Monk Go finally arrives to India.
They are not even close to a monk plus
They sound completely different and poles apart to Monk Plus.
Signature compared to Monk plus is totally changed. The mids are more emphasised, it's signature can be described as brighter compared to the monk. The bass quantity is not absent but is there when required. Are they dull, cold and analytical, no, not at all. They are best described as lively and bright. For the price this is definitely recommended and curious earbud lovers will not be disappointed. Burn-in in process currently

So, just wanted to share this story: I have two Monk (V2) and two Monk+ and the Monk are my favorite earbud ever. Even among all my headphones, iems and earbuds, Monk is still my favorite. Used to use them at night, listening to music on my bed and at the office. Now that I’ve been working from home for more than a year, the Monk and Monk+ have been my loyal companions. They are so comfortable, my ears can’t stand iems or headphones for more than two hours.

So…yesterday I took all my iems and earbuds and started trying them together with my niece using her phone only (no dac/amp involved). My niece has always used generic iems or earbuds, so when she started listening with my phones she was amazed. However, guess which one left her speechless: Monk (V2). She couldn’t believe an earbud was so good.

So now I have an excellent excuse to buy more VE earbuds (for my niece, of course). I may even try the BIE iems. Wish the Monk v2 were back!

Got my VE Monk GO for today~

I used it with no foam, and already have decent amount of bass texture, nicely warmth.

for the sounds, vocal really beautiful and lively, female vocal sounds like goddess voice once, also instrumental sounds airy as nice breeze and lively and sweet like a lily flower in the mountain hill,

sound quality is around 8.5/10, it's still truly the greatest bang for buck for $5 headphone can offer,
but for the sounds signature it is 15/10, the most euphonic and beautiful sound Monk ever~
also its easy to drive 32ohmm headphone as well, can drive perfectly with my smartphone and ipod with great sound.

I was not even burn-in it yet too, but VE Monk GO is easy become my favorite headphone now, beautiful sounds for female vocal and JPop songs~

I would hope its not Limited edition but become Regular one~
and I'm pretty sure with Replacement Cable for $150, sound quality would reach the World or God Class for sure~

Can't wait to do that sometime later in the future, but for now Happy Listening~

Is there a difference in sound between the Monk and the Go?
Monk Go is the newest Monk 32 ohms model from VE.
Sound is more neutral, less subbass in comparison to Monk (OG) 32 ohms.
