ZS2 isn't that great. I have a pair that I never use.

The basshead one you're probably thinking of is the original revision of the ZS1 (it has a brass ring in the nozzle). It is the undisputed King of basshead IEMs. It's extremely rare to find nowadays though, because it was discontinued years ago...

The bass is nowhere near as good on the ZS2 or the ZS1 v2 as it is on the ZS1 v1.

Also, there's some bleed into the midrange on the ZS2 and the ZS1 v2, that is not there on the ZS1 v1. I can only assume this is because the ZS1 v1 contains a crossover. You can see the crossover here:



I don't know if the drivers are the same or different between the ZS1 v1, ZS1 v2, and the ZS2. But the ZS1 v1 is different from the other 2 in that it has 1. a brass ring installed into the nozzle, and 2. a crossover. What else KZ changed I am not sure.

Finally, there's no way to tell from that banggood listing (or any listing for that matter) which revision of the ZS1 a seller has (v1 or v2). The ONLY way to know the exact version is to look directly under the silicone eartip for the brass ring. This must be done in person by physical examination (ie the seller opening the package, removing the eartip, and looking for the brass ring or not).

In this photo, you can see the brass ring in the ZS1 v1 (on the left) vs the revised ZS1 v1 on the right (no more brass ring, and it was replaced by plain stainless steel mesh):
