Multiple orders.

For example, an order by itself to take advantage of a $2.99 cable using the specific coupon 2.99 cable code.

Then another order by itself to take advantage of a $12.99 ZS5 using the specific $12.99 ZS5 coupon code.\

Etc.

frustrating. I understand from a business standpoint...but when the shipping equals the item price, you lose me. I ordered one for myself and just went ahead and paid the shipping so it wound up being $6.00 I justified it in my mind because I can look at it as it's still less than the 'full price' and instead of it taking a month or two it should be a couple of weeks or less. $3 is an amazing price, $6 is merely great but I'm not going to eat it twice, kwim?

I went ahead and ordered a ZST colorful, and it appears adding additional small items brought the shipping down, because apparently if you order one small thing, they don't take you seriously? But, add a bunch of other things or maybe just get some full sized headphones, and they are real friendly about the shipping all of a sudden. I double checked my orders: for a single cable, $3 for some 668Bs and a hardcase .57 cents
Whatever....I also got a 'lucky bag' for IEMs it was originally $3.50...and for some reason it dropped down to $1.50, so I put two in my cart, went to pay for it ...and then went back to double check my order and things went a little sideways, I had to go back into my history, fix some stuff blahblahblah. I wound up only being able to purchase one and when I went to the page for that bag it said 'discontinued'
So I am assuming in the middle of my transaction someone bought one of my bags out from under me and the system flopped me back into my cart to try it again! That's funny...wouldn't it be great if they put something truly spectacular in the last bag?
Has anyone had luck with these? A buck fifty is nothing, so as long as killer chinese wasps don't come out of the bag I can't complain...also, is it a literal bag?

All things considered, $10.00 for a ZST, a headphone splitter and a bag of killer wasps is still a good deal.

Ive ordered a phone stand bag for $1.11 and inside of it was a 360 degree swivel phone holder to put in your car vent. No cool bag, just some trash item.

pass. I'm still under $100 for all my new toys and I haven't doubted for a moment if they are worth it.
The most expensive cans in my near future are the Massdrop/Hifiman 4XX...I don't have a planer yet, this one seems in my wheelhouse in terms of price to performance ratio.

OK, I finally managed to grab a set of Superlux HD681 for $15.00 ( that's only $1.00 more than the lowest price I have ever seen on them) Christmas shopping (for myself!) is done.
for the last three years I have gotten myself new headphones for Christmas...sorta. I don't actually celebrate the holidays, but it's the most wonderful time of the year ...for deals. Last year I spent around $100 and got a set of Fidelio L2s and I couldn't be happier with them, awesome set of headphones.
This year I got:
Superlux: HD668B, HD681
KZ: ZST colorful, ES3, ZS3, ZS5 (and a mystery IEM grab bag for $1.50 ooooh, I can't wait to see that jem!)
and various cases, foam tips, a splitter, bluetooth cable etc.

Thanks. I have a low grade obsession with price to performance ratio AND the law of diminishing returns. Combine that with my ADHD, frugality, music obsession, etc. and it works out to: I need a bunch of different headphones to scratch all my various itches.
Lets say I get a set of AKG 7xx, for example, and I am not happy with them, I'll be pretty bummed because they were $200....if I don't like either of my Superlux they are parts donors for other headphones, or a gift to a friend and I don't feel bad about it for a moment.
