Reason for this vote:

Since lots of people asking the same question in this forum: "If I have $XXX, which headphones should I buy???" Therefore, I find out we need an offical VOTE to find out the TRUE answer!!

When you vote, please follow two rules:

1) You need to owned/heard (at least 1 hr experience) on the headphone you vote.

2) Please DO NOT vote based on other people comment.

You are able to pick more then one headphones in each category. (I hope moderator help me to stick this post on the top)

Hey you forgot the AKG-K1000. I'm sure a lot of head-fiers have heard and like these cans.

Wow, this is a tough category. If you own any of these cans, you are a lucky person. Each has their own distinctive sound, and this category responds alot more to subtle changes in the rest of your system.

I agree that the AKG K1000 should be in this category instead of the previous one, despite their current lowest street price.

As far as voting, I'll just say that the AKG K1000, and the A-T 2002 have a permanent place in my stable. But I'd love to have a pair of Grado HP-1's too - they just seem to get it right all the time. I've heard the Sony's, and while nice, I haven't spent enough time with them to rank them in this company. So far the electrostatic sound has not sat well with me for some reason, but I haven't heard them out of the Gilmore amp yet, and I hear through the grapevine that it is awesome with the Omegas.

I wouldn't throw any of these cans out of bed, IYKWIM.

The R10 gets my vote I have them all except the hp2 and At2002
which I have owned but sold. I have yet to hear the omegaII with a gillmore amp yet.
But will in a couple of months when Mikhail of singlepower finishes the weeble for the senn big Os and it will have a jack to also run the omega IIs untill then the R10s are the ones.

W2002 gets my vote, as it's the only one from the list I've heard. Still, it's good enough that I haven't gone looking for anything else, so it gets my vote of confidence.
