Ok. Just got a pair of Senns HD650's and a WooAudio3. This combo is legendary I know. Now I'm not sure on what source to get. Was thinking of picking up a Headroom Micro DAC to run on my laptop but decided I wouldn't do my headphones and amp justice with mp3's. I'm looking for a great CD player that will do them justice.

Found a few interesting ones..

Yamaha CDX-1060
Denon DCD-1560

What are your opinions on those? Do you have any reccomendations? I understand with my price range and my expectations I'm going to have to look at used stuff, probably older too. Thanks for the help.

These are both pretty old CD players. I had the model before the 1560, it was perfectly okay but nothing remarkable, the 1560 is supposed to be a good "vintage" player but it is a 15 yr old model so I wouldnt risk too much on it. I was also looking at the 1060 but found it impossible to find any reviews.

You might also consider some of the older Rotels such as the 855/955/975. Someone is selling a 955 on eBay right now, I had an 855 and was foolish to sell it, it was wonderfully silent in operation and very musical.
