2 versions for the PX100 - Question

I want to ask these for christmas, but I want to be sure to have the new version (who sounds better than the older version from reviews I read). I want to buy them at Futureshop or Best Buy or The Source, in store. At Futureshop and Best Buy, they only have the black ones. Is there a way to be sure I get the new version ones ? Thanks for the help, it is appreciated.
