Hi Im looking to use my AK240 2.5mm TRRS terminated cable with the Hifiman and Sony ZX2, both of them take 3.5 TRRS.... Has anyone been able to find this adapter? I found a very cheap mass produced one in aliedexpress that I cannot trust!
Thanks!

Depending on the price you want to spend. I would contact Peter at Double Helix Cables. I have a RSA balanced to HiFiMan 3.5 TRRS balanced.

Thanks, already sent him a message. I hope he can make one.

I use an Ultrashort adapter from DHC.

There seems to be some inexpensive options like

However, I have little luck looking for 2.5mm TRRS female to 3.5 TRS male (shorting the two negative poles), for my headphones that I intend to recable to 2.5mm TRRS. Clearly I do not want to blow $65 for the one by Alo.

Anyone knows of better/cheaper alternative?

Seamonster - did you ever find a solution to your cable issue?  I'm trying to find the same thing - to convert my balanced cable to 3.5mm for when I want to use my IEMs with a non-balanced source.  I see a few $50-75 options, but that seems insane for what this is...

Thanks in advance!

Can anyone recommend a suitable adapter?
