So, I'd like to have a decent set of 2.1 speakers for my seconds computer. Looking to spend at most $100 CDN. Just looking for some recommendations and something from one of these three websites.

I've been very pleased with the Logitech Z-4, so much that I bought 2 sets.

Black

You generally pay a premium for the white model.

You CAN get the black Z4 at FutureShop, but right now the website lists it at $129. Do not pay that. I got one set at FutureShop on sale for like $69, but no guarantees that sale price will come back.

You can also get them from Canada Computers (Toronto/GTA) for MUCH less.

I'm not making any claims that these are better than any good bookshelf or floorstanding speakers, just that they are solid desktop 2.1 speakers, with a good sound, nice looks, and a handy interface (the little control pod). If you are looking for mind-blowing volume that will shatter your skull from across the room, perhaps you want something bigger.

I second that on the logitechs. The best you are going to find for under 100 bones.
