Hello all.
I have been lurking for many months now and finally registered today. This place has become addictive as I read thru reams and reams of posts as I debated which headphones to purchase. I have always listened to phones but never critically. This is about to change as I am starting to play guitar and needed a pair of phones to maintain my healthy marriage
.
After much deliberation I went with a pair of Alessandro MS1's. I placed my order for them March 3 with Houndog and was told that they were back-ordered. No problem I thought, I have my two main rigs to keep me occupied. But boy was I wrong. I sweated the days waiting and am happy to report that I just picked up my MS1's this AM. And sweet they do sound. Especially compared to my old AT ATH 0.5's which have done he mans work over the years but just don't compare to these new MS1's.
Anyhow, I'd like to thank everyone who, unknowingly, aided in my decision making process here. And, hopefully, time will permit me to contribute to this great forum here.
BTW, for those fellow Canadians who are thinking about ordering Allesandro products. I can tell you that my MS1's cost me just under $150 CAN total. I paid no duty. Just US exchange rate plus GST/PST and a $5 handling fee.
