Could you elaborate on the 32? It sounds like a computer suffix, an MG Head with 32mb or RAM or 32 bit sound...

Only joking, in all seriousness though what has changed?

Joe,

A friend of mine is going to Shanghai via Hong Kong. He will be in Hong Kong but won't be around during your head-fi meet. Anyway, have you got any good recommendations for Hi-fi shops where he could go to. If you have their addresses that would be helpful too.

Less than a week till the meet. Got a few more headphones and another amp that will be showing up:

Sony MDR-F1 (just came in the mail today!)
Sennheiser HD600 with Cardas cable
Sugden Headmaster
We will also have a custom Twinhead/R10 combo (http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/showt...threadid=19767).

We will also have a local headphone manufacturer coming (trying to get them to bring some of their products as well http://www.fujikon.com).

For those of you coming, please bring CDs. If you have good cables, bring them too (otherwise, we will have a bunch of generic cables)! We will have a several sources (generic). If enough people encourage me, I will also buy a Philips 963SA for the meet as well (don't tell my wife...).

It Mean that - It can drive Cans down to 32 Ohm.

What its difference from MG-Head OTL ?

It use 6BQ5 x 2/Channel and connect in Triode SRPP. It use higher Plate Voltage , Higher Plate current. It result in Higher driving current , Lower output impedance. It is a Real OTL Headphone. No Output transformers anymore. It have a Impedance switch but it is only Change Resistor value when work in High/Low impedance Cans. It can improve damping Factor when connect a low resistor at output but it also Lower the Output Voltage and it will difficult to drive high impedance Cans. So a switch may be helpful ! It just a New idea. I hope it may be workable.
Oh ! Forget to tell you. It also a full function Pre-amps with 4 Inputs and Line Output.

I also start to build a Hybird Headphone amp for Low impedance cans in Low cost. It may be will show in CES2003.

Joe,

Do you know if ASL products are available in Singapore? If so do you know the dealer.
