I was disappointed because it didn't include the measurement for "wife/girlfriend yelling because you bought yet another pair of headphones." That seems more useful to many Head-fiers.

So funny looking back at that list I posted.
You can tell it’s VERY outdated. As someone above mentioned, personal cassette deck on high? Lol. Or how about a disco. LMAO.
And the girlfriend/wife screaming at you because of all your headphones and gear? Priceless and a perfect example for any of us. That would have to be close to
A rocket launcher at 180 dB. Plus your nerve endings burning to no end.
The one I just don’t buy. Stock car (another outdated quote. Has anyone been to a Neckcar, er, I mean NASCAR event? That is ears, nose, eye bleeding levels and an activity to me that’s as loud as I can tolerate. I must wear earplugs.
I know this is off topic somewhat, but not really...... what dB level do you think you listen to your 1MTDOE at? I gotta say a good 85 dB personally. They just excel once you get to the level and feel they sound anemic anything less. But that’s me of course. Some headphones are tunes so lush that you can crank up to 90+ dB but that gets dangerous.

imo graphene all the way. but depending in the cost the titanium are not that far off. both sound good but the silver ones are better.

i own both. if i was buying them again i would buy the silver. but the gold ones are not a slouch. the main difference is in the low end and then the top end. the silver have better low end and imo a bit smoother top end. the gold are a bit brighter up top and the low end doesnt have the same impact. again both are really nice.

I have both as well, but if I could only buy 1 of the 2 I would buy the silver.

Both are really nice though. It's like getting a hole in 1 in golf, vs getting a hole in 1 and also finding a $50 bill down inside the hole when you pull your ball out of the hole. Obviously, getting a hole in 1 is awesome no matter what, but finding a $50 bill inside to boot is just that much better.
