Hi, I wonder if anyone can help? I bought the 1964Ears Adel U8's when they first went on kickstarter, and eventually got some wayyyy late after I was about the 3 person on the planet to order them. And I've been since fighting against my true feelings with them - they are very very good IEM's, but I know deep down I'm not getting the best out of them as they don't fit my ears. I have 'fussy' ears. The only 2 things that really fit my ears are custom moulds (had some for my IE8's) and the 'p series' comply foam tips which they only seem to make for the size of my Shure 535's.
If I hold and push the U8's into my ears at weird angles, they sound wonderful, but as soon as I let go, it's gone, and they sound  just average again :( I've tried every tip under the son really, all the silicone, single, double, triple. Spin fit silicone. Comply Foam of small medium large - none give me anywhere near the fit of when I hold them in.

So now I'm left with the option of getting rid of them and going to something of a smaller profile like my Shure's, and maybe get a better angle of attack and hope for the best. OR, I find somehow to get the longer pro series foam for the larger nozzle, or somewhere in the UK that will do me a custom mould to plug onto my universals like with my IE8's.

What do people think? Am I best off binning these and going to a smaller profile? OR do I have any options re tips do you think? I'm not really confident with taking the gamble to custom moulded IEM's at this point due to me potentially not liking them/resale value etc, and cleaning the things scares me!

Any help or advice appreciated
