Looking to spend about 130 on gaming headpohnes that will be driven by onboard mobo. Must be circumaural. What do you recommend? Budget may be stretched.

If you can go with open headphones, the ATH-AD700. Many people consider them far and above one of the best headphones for good positional audio for gaming that can't be beat for double or triple their price. Then add a mic like the Zallman Zm-Mic1 or modmic.

I use the Logitech G35 wireless headset, and it is $130 right now. There is also a wired version but having no wires is great. It has a switch to turn on simulated 7.1 surround which pretty well in game and movies if there is an encoded surround format. But, if you're looking at using them for music down the road they are OK, not great. but walking around the house listening to music is a plus.
