Does anyone know where to find a decent 1/8" socket? I searched numerous sites and found all-sorts of stuff but no mini headphone sockets, just 1/4 inch ones. I'm building a new ampand would really like to fit a decent socket for my 'phones, anyone know where to look? I may be using the wrong search criteria.

the 3.5mm jacks from digikey listed in Tangent's cmoy guide work really well (part 274-0246)

i have a link to a really really good one....

I just purchased some 1/8 jacks from Digi-Key. They aren't exactly "known", but they have an amazing build quality and my favorite jack now. You can get them at Digi-Key (part # CP-43502PM-ND)

they have the tightest fitting i have ever seen in a jack.

Thanks for that, yes there are a lot of jacks around but very few good ones from what I've seen. That one looks like a keeper.
